A Localized Measure for Deeper Insights
By providing a more localized impedance measurement, DIRECTSENSE™ Technology gives you deeper insights into tissue characteristics at the tip of your catheter, a better understanding of how your lesion may form and an unparalleled view into subsurface tissue heating.
How DIRECTSENSE™ Technology Works
Generator impedance has long been a standard measurement during RF ablation procedures. DIRECTSENSE™ Technology builds on this principle by measuring local impedance only around the tip of the INTELLANAV MIFI™ Open Irrigated Ablation Catheter.
DIRECTSENSE™ Technology measures local impedance by sensing changes in an electric field generated from the catheter tip to the proximal ring electrode. The result is deeper, localized insights into what type of tissue you’re touching and how you’re influencing that tissue during ablation.
