Fellowship Grants
Portal Migration Notice
We are moving to a new Grantee and Applicant Experience starting on July 20, 2026! The new portal will make the application process much easier. You will now have a single account to manage all requests using YourCause GrantsConnect in one consolidated portal. YourCause GrantsConnect is a Blackbaud product, so if you already use a Blackbaud product, such as Raiser Edge, you won’t need to create a secondary login. If not, you will be required to create a Blackbaud ID.
Boston Scientific’s Grants, Donations & Exhibits website will also be updated with the new YourCause GrantsConnect links and information as a part of this process. In preparation, please add noreply@yourcause.com to your safe senders list for future applications. Your application history will be in the new portal once we have completed the migration (later in 2026) and will no longer be accessible in the current portal. For your historical documentation purposes, you may want to download any previous applications and reports prior to July 20, 2026.
If you have started an application in the legacy system and it is in pending status, we recommend submitting before July 17, 2026 so that no information will be lost.
We may support professional education by providing funding for a limited number of medical fellowship positions at qualified academic or training institutions. Most qualifying fellowships are accredited training programs for post-graduate advanced specialties supported by national medical societies that make fellowship grants to academic medical institutions or directly by academic medical institutions. The fellowship programs generally lead to board certification in a medical specialty. Grants are provided only to support salary and benefits for fellowship programs.
Please note: The following businesses have special deadlines for all Fellowship applications each year:
- Urology – October 16
- Endoscopy (ENDO) – March 1
- Cardiology (includes IC and EP fellowships) – March 22
- Interventional Cardiology (IC) - For this academic year, IC is only accepting applications for advanced fellowships for WATCHMAN programs and for programs where fellows extend their training by one year to support in-depth training on Complex PCI. BSC is not currently funding structural valve programs
- Electrophysiology (EP) – Programs must have at least 3 EP fellows OR be a new fellowship program (less than two years old)
- EP and Advanced IC fellowship grants are only open to U.S.-based institutions
Please email the specific division Grant Coordinators if you have any questions about your submission and/or would like to know how to submit your request.
- Endoscopy: endogrants@bsci.com
- Interventional Cardiology: icgrants@bsci.com
- Neuromodulation: BSN.Grants@bsci.com
- Peripheral Interventions: pigrants@bsci.com
- Rhythm Management (CRM): crmgrants@bsci.com
- Urology: urogrants@bsci.com
We receive many worthwhile requests. Unfortunately, due to budget limitations, we are unable to fund them all. It is important to note that past funding does not guarantee future approval and that submissions can be approved at an amount less than the requested amount. Do not assume that a request has been approved. Requestors will receive an email notification of approval or denial after the Boston Scientific committee has made its decisions.
