The SEISMIQ™ Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) System is a next-generation therapy developed to support the treatment of complex, calcified peripheral artery disease (PAD). The SEISMIQ IVL system uses laser-generated acoustic pressure waves to fracture hardened calcium in the vessel wall, restoring blood flow and preparing the artery for further treatment with a balloon or stent. Designed to provide precision, control and real-time feedback, the SEISMIQ IVL system enables physicians to deliver targeted acoustic pressure across a range of lesion types, supporting safe, effective vessel preparation in some of the most challenging cases of PAD.

The ENROUTE™ Transcarotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR) System is designed to treat carotid artery disease using a minimally invasive approach that helps reduce the risk of stroke during the procedure. The system enables direct access to the carotid artery through a small incision at the neck and utilizes dynamic flow reversal to protect the brain by redirecting blood flow away from it while the blockage is treated. This hybrid approach combines surgical principles with endovascular techniques and has been shown to minimize procedural stroke risk while enabling faster recovery compared to traditional carotid endarterectomy. The ENROUTE TCAR system is the first neuroprotection system cleared by the FDA for use in TCAR procedures.

The Eluvia™ Drug-Eluting Vascular Stent System is specifically developed for the treatment of peripheral artery disease (PAD) in the superficial femoral artery (SFA) and proximal popliteal artery (PPA). The Eluvia stent utilizes a drug-polymer combination to offer sustained release of the drug paclitaxel for a one-year timeframe, designed to prevent tissue regrowth that might otherwise block the stented artery. The Eluvia stent was approved by the FDA based on findings from the IMPERIAL trial, in which the Eluvia stent demonstrated superior results in the first superficial femoral artery head-to-head drug-eluting stent trial.

The Ranger™ Drug-Coated Balloon (DCB) is designed for the treatment of peripheral artery disease (PAD) in the superficial femoral artery (SFA) and proximal popliteal artery (PPA). Built on a low-profile 0.014” monorail platform, the Ranger DCB is engineered to optimize deliverability through complex anatomy and enable smooth, efficient procedures. It features TransPax™ coating technology, which enables effective drug transfer at a low dose of paclitaxel while minimizing drug loss during tracking and inflation. This results in high primary patency rates with low systemic drug exposure. The Ranger DCB is the only DCB available in a 200 cm length, expanding access to radial-to-peripheral procedures and enhancing procedural flexibility for physicians treating PAD.

Chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) can significantly impact patients’ quality of life and often requires individualized treatment. Boston Scientific is advancing CVI care by bringing together two widely used ablation approaches: chemical ablation (via Varithena™ Microfoam Chemical Ablation) and radiofrequency ablation (via the CEDAR™ Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) System).

Together, these complementary technologies provide physicians with the flexibility to treat superficial venous disease using chemical and radiofrequency ablation from a single portfolio, helping expand access to effective, clinically supported care for patients living with CVI.

The EKOS™ Endovascular System is the first endovascular device cleared by the FDA for the treatment of pulmonary embolism (PE), which is designed to leverage targeted ultrasound power in combination with clot-dissolving drugs to restore blood flow in patients with PE.
