Peripheral Rotablator™

Rotational Atherectomy System

System Set-up

System Components

The Peripheral Rotablator Atherectomy System components include the console, foot pedal, and RotaLink Plus Catheter.

Console

The Peripheral Rotablator Atherectomy System console regulates the flow of air to the advancer, controlling burr rotation speed. It also monitors and displays burr rotation speed and rotational atherectomy procedural time. The console may be powered by either nitrogen or compressed air.

Foot Pedal

The Peripheral Rotablator Atherectomy System foot pedal activates the burr by initiating the flow of air through the system. It also switches the system into and out of Dynaglide mode, which facilitates burr exchange or removal.

Advancer

The Peripheral Rotablator Atherectomy System features the innovative Rotablator Advancer which is used to control movement of the burr.

Burrs

The Peripheral Rotablator Atherectomy System offers multiple burr size options for predictable lumen size.

Accessories

Rotawire Guidewires

Rotawire guidewires are designed specifically for use with the Peripheral Rotablator Rotational Atherectomy System.

  • .009” stainless steel core with tapered distal ends for varying degrees of burr support
  • .014” distal platinum coil prevents the burr from traveling beyond the tip of the wire*

Choose between the Rotawire Floppy or Rotawire Extra Support models depending on procedure requirements

*Never allow the rotating burr to contact the platinum coil tip

Rotaglide

Rotaglide is a lipid based emulsion designed to lubricate the Peripheral Rotablator Atherectomy System.

  • Reduces friction and improves tactile feel
  • Reduces heat build-up around the Rotablator burr
  • Reduces sudden drops in RPMs caused by lesion feedback

Contraindicated if patient is allergic to eggs or olive oil
