Quick Tip

If you’re having trouble using your myLUX app, most problems are easy to solve by simply following the instructions on your app screen. If that doesn’t work, contact your health care team or Boston Scientific for assistance.

How can I tell if my devices are connected?

If you see a screen like the one shown above, that means your devices are connected and your monitoring is up to date.

If your myLUX app can’t connect to your ICM device or to a cellular or Wi-Fi network, a message will appear on the screen telling you to check your connection. Tap the button displayed with the connection message and follow the instructions until you see a screen confirming your monitor is up to date.

How do I connect to Wi-Fi?

Your app needs to stay connected for your health care team to receive the data from your ICM device. If your myLUX app can’t connect to a cellular or Wi-Fi network, you will see a screen with an exclamation point icon telling you there is an issue. To  connect, just follow the instructions on the screen. You can also connect to Wi-Fi at any time by completing the following steps:

  1. Press the Home button just below the screen towards the bottom of your mobile device.
  2. Tap the down arrow in the upper right corner of your screen.
  3. Tap the Settings ( ) icon.
  4. Tap Wi-Fi.
  5.  If a list of available Wi-Fi networks displays, tap to select the network you would like to connect to from the list.
  6. Follow the instructions on the screen. You may be prompted to enter a network password to connect.
  7. The screen will indicate when you are connected.
  8. Press the Home button on your mobile device.
  9. Tap the myLUX app icon to return to the app.

Quick Tip

If you followed the steps above and are still having trouble connecting, you may want to check with the person who set up your Wi-Fi network or your internet service provider to make sure you have the correct network and password.

How do I change my language setting?

Your myLUX app is set up to default to English. You can change your language setting
at any time by following these steps:

  1. Press the Home button just below the screen towards the bottom of your mobile device.
  2. Tap the down arrow in the upper right corner of your screen.
  3. Tap the Settings ( ) icon.
  4. Tap Language on this screen and on the next screen.
  5. Select your preferred language by dragging the up/down arrows (  ) to move it to the top of the list and then tap Done.
  6. Press the Home button on your mobile device.
  7. Tap the myLUX app icon to return to the app.

Quick Tip

If you’re having trouble dragging the arrows, try touching and holding one finger to the screen where the arrow is that you are trying to move. While you are still touching the screen, move your finger along the screen (the language should move up and down with your finger). Once you have your preferred language at the top of this list, remove your finger from the screen.

How do I get back to my myLUX app?

You can return to your myLUX app at any time by tapping the X in the upper left corner of your screen..

What should I expect after my procedure?

Recovery from your insertion procedure should not prevent you from returning to an active lifestyle. Your health care provider will help you decide what level of activity is best for you and answer any questions you have about living with your ICM device. Follow your health care provider’s post-operative instructions.

Contact your health care provider if you notice any swelling, warmth, or drainage around your incision or if you develop a fever while your incision is healing.
