EMBOLD™ Detachable Coil System case study

Hemoptysis treated with EMBOLD™ Fibered Coils

In this case study, we explore the treatment of hemoptysis using Embold Fibered Coils. After the patient presented to the emergency room, the team initiated the procedure by inserting a 5 F diagnostic catheter into the pulmonary artery; subsequently, a TruSelect™ Microcatheter was navigated to the site of the pulmonary artery pseudo aneurysm. A total of fourteen Embold Fibered Coils were deployed to successfully embolize the affected area and the patient returned to recovery following the procedure.
