The evolution of TheraSphere data since 1999
With over 100,000 patient treatments globally, TheraSphere research spans the BCLC guidelines from palliative to curative intent. Thanks to the work of Interventional Radiologists, since 1999 TheraSphere data has evolved dosimetry and delivery technique, demonstrating the power of selective, ablative, and personalized treatment, delivering durable patient outcomes and reproducible results. TheraSphere built the HCC Y-90 market and continues to trailblaze to advance patient care.
At the time of publication of this animation, TheraSphere operated with a single Sunday calibration day. TheraSphere now operates with two calibration days—Thursday and Sunday. Accordingly, references in this asset to ‘Week 1’ or ‘Week 2’ correspond to days post-calibration from Sunday calibration (For example, first week Monday equates to 1 day-post calibration and second week Friday equates to 12 days-post calibration).
