Manoj has over 17 years of experience in leadership roles across sales, marketing and general management and has worked on unique opportunities in both developed and emerging markets on various assignments.
Manoj joined Boston Scientific Global in March 2014 as part of the Global Leadership Development Program. Over the last 6 years, he has worked in various marketing and business leadership roles in the US, Australia & New Zealand & South East Asia. Prior to taking over the business for the India Hub, Manoj was the Country Head for Boston Scientific Philippines and ASEAN Marketing Leader for the Urology & Pelvic Health Business, where he scripted a business turnaround and delivered one of the fastest growth rates in the Asia Pacific region. Under his leadership, BSC Philippines team won the ‘Regional Excellence Award’ in 2018 for delivering outstanding performance across all key commercial metrics.
Prior to Boston Scientific, Manoj had tenured with Johnson & Johnson as the Business Manager for Tier 2/3 Markets in India where amongst other high impact projects, he spearheaded the outsourced sales model for surgical capital equipment in India. Before Johnson & Johnson, Manoj spent few years in Financial Services in India as well.
Manoj has an MBA from INSEAD and MDI, Gurgaon. He is extremely passionate about patient outcomes, market access and has a keen interest in collaborating with governments and public organizations to ensure improved access to healthcare. Manoj is currently leading a high-powered team in BSC India to positively impact patient outcomes in one of the most critical market globally for BSC by making collaboration, innovation and empathy as the foundation stones of business.
Maneesh Pherwani is the Associate Director – Endoscopy, Urology, Pulmonology & Key Accounts, India HUB. He is a General Management Professional with rich experience in creation, development and growth of businesses.
Maneesh is Boston Scientific India’s resident ‘intra’preneur and strongly believes in the power of customer centricity and deriving greater value through solutions and performance driven implementation to create a difference in the moments that matter. Maneesh’s strength is his ability to work with people at all levels, appreciate their good work and contribute at the same time. He has always been forthcoming to accept additional responsibility and take initiative in new projects. Maneesh was single handedly responsible for getting some of the most advanced Boston Scientific therapies approved by IRDA for insurance cover.
Sankalp is a pharmacist by training and holds a PGDPM from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. He started his professional career with Piramal Healthcare (now Abbott India) as a Management Trainee and subsequently transitioned to the medical device industry by joining Bausch+Lomb as Marketing Manager - Surgical portfolio, India followed by an APAC regional marketing stint.
Sankalp joined Boston Scientific India in 2014 as Head of Marketing- Intervention Cardiology bringing a “marketing-first” mindset to the business. Subsequently, he moved on to a business leadership role within the company taking P&L responsibility for the Peripheral Interventions and Intervention Oncology business unit.
With over Nineteen years of association with Boston Scientific (Guidant), Satish started his journey as a Sales Rep and has grown over the years to reach the leadership position. Prior to this role, Satish was managing Rhythm Management business for India with a proven track record of consistent performance, he effectively implemented business model change by turning around the business to deliver sustainable profitable growth. Satish has won several accolades like “Role Model for BSC India”, “India Managing Director Award” along with several other sales achievement awards.
Having worked with companies like Johnson & Johnson and Smith & Nephew, he graduated from Loyola College Chennai, and has undergone Leadership and Marketing excellence courses from XLRI, Jamshedpur & Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. Satish is well recognized in the industry for his technical knowledge in the field of Rhythm Management. Satish is a born philanthropist.
He has a rich experience in driving change in business model in compliance with taxation , regulatory and accounting perspective and has been driving process improvement/data analytics through automation, business partnership and collaboration. He has been successful in creating “One Data Source” for every information across levels in organization with consistency in performance matrices and driving informed and quick business decision.
Deepak is a Chartered Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Mohan Lal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. He started his professional Career with Lakshmi Cement as a Management Trainee and subsequently worked in companies like Federal Mogul Goetze India Ltd, Beckton Dickinson India Pvt Ltd, Karl Storz Endoscopy India Pvt Ltd across all finance portfolios.
Deepak has also been recognized by various awards like LT Choice, Braveheart, Managerial excellence and MD Choice Award across his organizations for domain excellence.
Sushant is a GMC (UK) and MCI (India) registered Physician and Specialist in Pharmaceutical Medicine. He is a new age Healthcare manager with experience across health care startups and Medical equipment industry. He joins us from Philips India Ltd., where he was heading Clinical Marketing & New Business Development for the Sleep & Respiratory Care Business. Before which he was associated with Resmed India Pvt. Ltd. as a Clinical Specialist and heading North India for them. Before Resmed Sushant worked with Health Care Start up – Healthcare At Home India Pvt. Ltd. as a business development manager.
With over 16 years of experience he has donned many hats and has been a recipient of many awards in all his previous roles like Special Achievements in Clinical Marketing, Making the Difference and Certificate of Appreciation (during his stint with Max Healthcare). He also has various publications in indexed journals to his name.
He has a MBBS degree from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal and a MD in Pharmacology form Subharti Medical College, Meerut. He has also completed his executive education – Berkeley Executive program in Management (BEPM) from Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, USA.
Off his corporate avatar, his love for Sports, Urdu poetry and Sufi Music is what defines him.
Bhavna has had diverse experience in her past thirteen years spanning through business development, marketing, therapy development, launching new businesses, sales leadership, government business, P&L leadership of multiple business units. She has been with Boston Scientific India for last 9 years and has worked for business divisions of Endoscopy, Urology, Pulmonology & GAM where she worked on business re-modelling and successful implementation of strategic projects to accelerate growth. Prior to Boston Scientific, Bhavna has worked for Baxter for 4 years in marketing and business development roles.
Bhavna is passionate about development of diversity talent and had initiated Boston Scientific India’s gender diversity initiative under the banner of NARI. She represents India in BSC APAC Women Council and has featured in BSC Working Mothers profiles in 2017. An MBA from NMIMS Mumbai and a Homeopathy Doctor by qualification, she has gained multiple leadership certifications from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, India.
Manjushree joined Boston Scientific India from Meril Life Sciences, where she was heading the Cardiovascular & Structural Heart Marketing for India and International business. During her 2 year stint at Meril, she was instrumental in various product launches and developing marketing strategiies; she was also responsible for KOL Prof. Education programs, building digital presence and corporate brand identity. Prior to Meril, Manjushree was with Abbott Vascular where she managed the DES & Core Coronary marketing for India & South Asia. She also has Endovascular Marketing experience in India and has overall led key product launches and has also been instrumental in DES/BVS harmonization strategies and was in the NLEM/NPPA task force. Manjushree has also worked as a FMCG Brand Marketer with Ferrero SPA and launched Kinder Joy in India.
Manjushree is a B.Tech in Biotechnology and an MBA in Marketing from Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development, Pune. With her expertise in strategic marketing and brand management in healthcare and medical devices, she is responsible for leading the Company to explore new market/product opportunities, identifying local unmet needs and develop plans to maximize market share and profitability of the supported franchises.
She is a passionate painter and loves gardening in her free time. She also enjoys spending time to train her Shih Tzu puppy and is currently building her knowedge in canine behaviour.
Prior to joining Boston Scientific India, Anumeha has worked for corporations like General Motors Corporation, Becton Dickinson, DuPont and Alere. Her work experience cuts across various Industries like automotives, Business solutions, Chemicals but she has been in Healthcare for more than a decade now. She has been recognized and felicitated with various internal and external Legal and Compliance awards like Impact Award and Winning Spirit ( team) at both country and global levels. Anumeha has made it to the various Top Inhouse Counsel lists of the country published by Legal Era, Indian Corporate Counsel Association(ICCA), Corporate Counsel Association of India ( CCAI).
Having spent more than three years with Boston Scientific India, she takes a keen interest and initiative in contributing to the corporate social responsibility activities of the Company. Anumeha is also a qualified Lean Six Sigma Green and Black Belt and a Certified Compliance Specialist from Trace International . She is defined by her passionate love for travel and experiencing food and cultural offerings of the world.
With an experience of over 15 years across Telecom, Pharma and Medical devices across various functions of supply chain, Arun is responsible for supply chain organization at Boston Scientific India including customer service, warehouse management, demand & supply planning. Arun has handled various facets of Supply Chain in his various assignments and covered the entire gamut of activities from driving S&OP - Interface among sales & sarketing, production planning, inventory management, demand forecasting, new product launches, managing internal & external Supply chain team, preparation of production plan, maintenance of Master data for customer, price, vendor, tax & materials in SAP etc. Arun has single handedly managed multiple warehouses single handedly.
Arun has been awarded excellence awards multiple years in a row and Winning Spirit Team awards in the past.
Surabhi did her engineering from H.B.T.I. Kanpur and MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management Pune. During MBA, she has been an active participant and winner of business / HR case study. She has total 12 year of experience and has worked with organizations such as IBM India, Tech Mahindra and Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd. Her areas of interest have been Business Partnering, Assessment Center design, Succession Planning, Talent Acquisition, Campus Engagement, and People Development.
Surabhi is certified “Rewards Professional” by Aon Hewitt and also has completed “Executive Development Program in Talent Management by XLRI”. She is one of the youngest members of any Leadership Team in India and we are very proud to have her onboard.
Samrat Sarkar joined Boston Scientific in June 2021 as Director – Human Resources, Boston Scientific, India (BSCI). In this role, Samrat is responsible for driving the people agenda at BSCI.
Samrat brings 19 years of rich leadership experience in Human Resource Management spread across multiple industry segments including FMCG, healthcare and banking & financial services.
Prior to joining BSCI, Samrat was heading Employee Relations in ASEAN & South Asia (ASA) at Standard Chartered Bank overseeing India, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Brunei, Philippines, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, & Australia. He was a member of the Global ER Leadership Team, and the ASA HR Leadership Team. His stint at Standard Chartered was preceded by HR business partnering & specialist roles he has held at H.S.B.C., Baxter, GE and Coca-Cola India.
Over the years, Samrat has gathered rich experience in HR advisory, change management, transformation, employee & industrial relations, resourcing, managing performance, employment law, and people management in diverse and multi-cultural organizations. Culture, and the future of work are currently specific areas of interest for Samrat.
