Areas of Interest
Investigator submissions aimed at expanding clinical and scientific knowledge and improving understanding of our products and therapeutic areas of interest will be considered. Please refer to the current areas of interest below.
Electrophysiology
- Advancing Therapeutic Knowledge: Explore the fundamental science of PFA (including its mechanisms, tissue selectivity, and long-term lesion durability), and advancing scientific leadership in AF ablation (including leveraging ICMs to understand AF burden outcomes, exploring the impact of using tailored ablation strategies, and improving patient selection).
- Improving Safety and Outcomes in AF Ablation: Generate evidence that supports enhancing clinical outcomes and improving safety of PFA in AF procedures, including assessing longitudinal effects on stroke risk, cognitive decline, and healthcare utilization.
- Enhancing Procedural Workflow: Identify strategies and technologies that streamline procedures, reduce complexity, and enhance the operator experience.
- Expanding PFA to Broader Patient Populations: Study the application of PFA in defined patient populations, including minimally symptomatic patients, patients with metabolic syndrome, or patients with previously implanted cardiac devices.
- Increasing Economic Data and Evaluating Cost-Efficacy: Provide health economic and cost-efficacy data for PFA technology, including comparisons to standard of care.
