These Text Message Terms of Use (“Terms of Use”) are applicable to individuals who have subscribed and expressly consented to receive text messages from Boston Scientific. These individuals have granted Boston Scientific express permission to send automated text messages to the enrolled mobile phone number(s) through their wireless phone carrier unless and until such permission is revoked in accordance with these Terms of Use.

Information provided is valid only at the time the text message is sent and may change at a later time.

Boston Scientific is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Messaging and data rates may be charged by mobile service providers. If you have questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider. Content may not be available via all carriers. Participating carriers may include, but are not limited to AT&T, Sprint/Boost/Virgin, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, Verizon Wireless. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Boston Scientific offers text messages to provide information or resources on topics such as:

  • Alerts/reminders such as assessment results, communication materials, opportunities to speak with a patient education specialist, short health-related surveys.
  • Health-related information provided is not meant to replace professional medical advice.

These Terms of Use are governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Massachusetts, without reference to its rules regarding choice of law.

Boston Scientific Text Message Programs:


Individuals will opt-in to receive text messages from Boston Scientific by either signing up online at or texting “WATCHMAN” to short code 60990.

Text messages will vary in frequency. For help, text “HELP” to 60990, call 1-855-205-5198 or visit watchman.com/help. To cancel text messages, text “STOP” to 60990. Individuals will receive one final confirmation text message from Boston Scientific stating that they will no longer receive text messages.
