What was the most valuable part of your internship?
Interacting with different engineers was really informative to learn their backgrounds and their roles within the company. My time here allowed me to grow as a professional – it helped me see the bigger picture and gave me a ton of confidence when I went back to school to finish getting my degree.
What about your internship made you want to work here full-time?
The connections I made as an intern brought me back to Boston Scientific. Any shyness or reservations I had were gone – I was ready to start making things better for our patients and felt like I was able to contribute to the winning culture. That’s what’s amazing about working here – it sounds corny, but it feels like one big family.
What inspires you working at BSC?
Hearing patient stories and seeing how our work improves lives every day is a great motivator. It just feels good to know that the work I do has a positive impact on so many lives.
What would you tell someone considering an internship at BSC?
If you’re thinking of interning here I’d highly recommend it. Learning about the medical devices that we make and the therapies behind them will make you appreciate the company as a whole that much more.
