GUIDE™ DBS Software is a simulation system that allows you to plan the programming of a patient with a Vercise Deep Brain Stimulation System. GUIDE DBS uses a patient’s pre-op Magnetic Resonance (MR) and post-op Computerized Tomography (CT) to display the simulated DBS lead(s) relative to an anatomical atlas.
Boston Scientific provides many implantable products and accessories designed to work with the Vercise DBS Systems. Innovative leads are designed for durability and precise control of therapy. Adapters allow in-pocket conversion to the Vercise IPGs, while available surgical tools facilitate the DBS procedure.

Spinal Cord Stimulation
Spinal Cord Stimulation, or SCS, may offer hope for many of the estimated 100 million people who suffer from chronic pain. SCS sends electrical impulses that trigger nerve fibers along the spinal cord, masking the pain message traveling to the brain. When this happens, the painful sensation is replaced with a soothing, tingling sensation. SCS may be prescribed for chronic intractable pain of the trunk and/or limbs, including unilateral or bilateral pain associated with the following: failed back surgery syndrome, intractable low back pain and leg pain.
