Conduction System Pacing
Clinical Evidence

The Boston Scientific Conduction System Pacing Portfolio is supported by a growing body of clinical evidence demonstrating the safety, performance, and clinical benefits of Left Bundle Branch Area Pacing (LBBAP). Explore key studies, real-world registries, and clinical data that continue to advance physiological pacing.

INSIGHT LBBAP

95.6%

implant success

The INGEVITY+ pacing lead demonstrated 95.6% implant success with left bundle or left septal capture.1

97.7%

of procedures complication-free at 3 months

97.7% of LBBAP procedures with INGEVITY+ pacing lead were complication-free at 3 months with zero additional complications at 12 months.1

10-years

of survivability

The INGEVITY+ pacing lead has demonstrated a minimum of 10-year survivability with zero conductor fractures in rigorous 400 million cycle fatigue testing for use in LBBAP.2

INSIGHT-LBBA is a multicenter registry evaluating the safety and performance of the INGEVITY™+ stylet-driven pacing lead for Left Bundle Branch Area Pacing (LBBAP).

Across 1,122 implant attempts using Boston Scientific Site Selective Pacing Catheters, the study demonstrated high procedural success, low complication rates, and predictable electrical performance, supporting the use of INGEVITY+ for physiological pacing.

SYNCHRONICITY

SYNCHRONICITY is a prospective, multicenter, randomized clinical trial sponsored by Boston Scientific designed to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of Left Bundle Branch Area Pacing (LBBAP) compared with conventional Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT) in patients with heart failure. The study aims to enroll up to 850 patients and assess whether LBBAP is non-inferior to CRT.

The trial is expected to provide robust evidence on the role of conduction system pacing as a potential alternative to conventional CRT in appropriately indicated heart failure patients.

NOTE: Ongoing Study: The SYNCHRONICITY study is currently enrolling, and data collection is ongoing.

Hear Dr. Cano, one of the main investigator, briefly explain the context and benefits of the SYNCHRONICITY study.

Hear Prof. Auricchio and Dr. Brad discuss the SYNCHRONICITY study and how it aims to strengthen the clinical evidence comparing Conduction System Pacing with conventional CRT.
