Peer to Peer Education: From Expert Insights to Your Academy Experience

Expert Insights: FARAVIEWTM Across Europe is a new series where clinical experts in PFA share the techniques and workflows that guide their approach during the FARAPULSETM PFA Academy sessions. These peer perspectives highlight what the Academy offers—learning from experienced electrophysiologists, observing live procedures, and gaining practical guidance for effective PFA application.

In the fourth episode of the series, Prof. Daniel Scherr from the Medical University of Graz shares how FARAPULSE PFA Academy sessions support peer-to-peer learning, enabling clinicians to exchange experience, refine workflows, and improve patient outcomes in AF ablation.

He also highlights how FARAVIEW can be integrated into existing workflows to support fluoroscopy reduction. In his experience, the use of FIELDTAG™ Technology may help guide lesion positioning and contribute to a more structured, reproducible approach across different case types.

What the FARAPULSE Academy Offers:

The FARAPULSE Academy is a focused, one-day educational experience centred on practical learning and clinical application with the FARAPULSE PFA system. Participants engage in:

  • Live case observations using the FARAPULSE PFA platform
  • Faculty-led discussions on procedural strategies for PVI and posterior wall ablation
  • Expert presentations covering PFA techniques, clinical evidence and centre-based experience

The programme is designed to support a deeper understanding of procedural workflows, optimisation strategies and key clinical considerations when using PFA. 
By the end of the Academy, participants gain clear, actionable insights that can be directly translated into their own hospital practice.
