Here's how you participate in the contest:
How do I submit my case report?
The subject of this case report contest are WOLVERINE'" on-label cases that use IVUS guidance. You can upload your case on this website, by using a specific PowerPoint template that you can download right here. The presentation template will help you to fill out the minimum information required.
The selected entrant to present will be invited as a faculty speaker at the Boston Scientific Training Village at the renowned congress EuroPCR 2025. EuroPCR takes place in Paris on May 20 to May 23, 2025.
The case presentation will take place as an intimate Meet The Expert session as part of the sponsored programme. We will advertise you as our selected entrant to present and your case report on different digital channels both pre-event as well as post-event with a video on demand.
You can submit your case between February 10th and March 22nd. After March 22nd, the judging panel will evalute your case: decide the panel's selected entrant! The winner will be contacted privately and all arrangements will be made for them to participate in the faculty of EuroPCR 2025
General Rules:
- Cases need to be retrospective
- Cases need to include angio runs and pre-peri-post- IVUS images and application of WOLVERINETM Cutting Balloon Cases need to be on-label.
- Cases need to be anonymous (without any patient data with granted approval to be used for said purpose)
- Cases must include the following details: age, conditions, type of lesion, result after the PCI, for example:
" 71-year-old male patient with hypertension and history of CABG in 2007, presented with crescendo angina over 2 months. Severe calcified stenosis on proximal and distal RCA, severe stenosis in PL".
- Multiple Case Report submissions are allowed
Recommendation for Case Selection:
- Case reports should describe any IVUS-guided calcified CAD treatment where WOLVERINETM Cutting Balloon was used as an appropriate lesion preparation tool.
- Case report should implement an (preferably high-definition) IVUS-guided treatment strategy implemented
- WOLVERINETM Cutting Balloon utilized in alignment with contemporary Modern PCI Calcium modification strategies for optimal patient outcome
- Lesion preparation combination strategies accepted (namely ROTA-CUT as example)
- Drug-eluting treatment strategy following lesion preparation remains at the discretion of the operator
- Appropriate lesion treatment selection must be in accordance with best practice clinical case evaluation in line with contemporary calcium algorithms. Boston Scientific does not endorse utilization of devices outside IFU recommendations and / or treatment according to generally accepted clinical best practice, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Submission Requirements:
- Highlighted Learning Objectives and why the case was selected
- Introduction with angiographic and patient presentation
- Pre-, peri- and post- lesion preparation intravascular imaging run integrated into the template highlighting rationale and suitability of why cutting balloon was selected for optimal patient outcomes
- Post-treatment intravascular imaging run integrated following stenting / DCB optional
- Conclusion of Learning Objectives from the case

- Meet all the entry criteria

- Give a clear overview of the final revascularitation results
