About / Corporate Social Responsibility / Practices / The Boston Scientific Foundation Europe / Funded Projects / #BrainLifeGoals

We all have dreams that we wish for in our lives. We can write them down in a secret diary or voice them publicly, for instance by sharing #LifeGoals on social media. Now try to imagine how many of your dreams or life goals would be achievable if you were affected by a neurological disorder.

The #BrainLifeGoals campaign seeks to raise awareness of the impact of neurological diseases by highlighting the aspirations of those living with a brain disorder, promoting understanding of neurological conditions and reducing prejudice and stigma.

The European Federation of Neurological Associations (EFNA) brings together European organisations of neurological patient advocacy groups to work with other associations in the field of neurology in what has been termed a “Partnership for Progress”.

Digital advocacy projects relating to the #BrainLifeGoals campaign – including e-zines, video interviews, websites and interactive games – have generated interesting patient-based evidence of the impact of neurological disorders. This could be used to inform decisions on healthcare provision and support required for effective disease management.
