INNOVA™

Self-Expanding Stent System

Radial strength  and compression resistance

Optimize results in tight and calcified SFA lesions

The InnovaTM stent provides:

  • Strength to fully open and resist compression in challenging lesions
  • Balanced force to expand in a stable and uniform fashion
Struts, width, length and angles throughout the InnovaTM stent are optimized for maximum strength. Spacing of connectors provides balanced stress distribution

Flexibility

Flexibility is important because the SFA has strong and  complex mechanical movements. An SFA stent must have the ability to track through tortuous , dynamic anatomy.
InnovaTM stent, was  engineered for the flexibility with an open cell design along the stent body.
The offset strut peaks (Peak-to-Valley design) enhances conformability, axial flexibility and kink resistance

Fracture resistance

Stent fractures are associated with higher in-stent restenosis and re-occlusion rate1

The SFA is subject to unique mechanical forces like compression and bending, which cause fatigue fractures in stents.2

InnovaTM is designed to withstand multiple deformation modes including elongation, extreme bending and axial compression, through a balanced spacing of strut connectors.

Custom materials and processing practices, including high purity Nitinol and enhanced stent polishing, create excellent fatigue resistance for the Innova stent.

Competition comparison

InnovaTM is purpose built for the Superficial Femoral Artery with a combination of radial strength, flexibility and fracture resistance.
