Accelerating career development for Hispanic & Latinx employees

The population of Hispanic and Latinx people in the U.S. is one of the highest growing demographics, yet Hispanic people are still drastically under-represented in corporate leadership positions. Our Hispanic Organization for Leadership & Achievement (HOLA) employee resource group (ERG) helps our company strengthen the recruitment and professional development of Hispanic and Latinx employees. Initiatives such as our Spanish-language manufacturing shifts in Spencer, Indiana help make an impact by making career opportunities more accessible.

Working with HOLA, our manufacturing site teams have translated orientation materials, software and training programs and started promoting development opportunities and recruiting new employees. Since 2020, the program has expanded significantly.

“We have a responsibility to increase opportunities for Hispanic and Latinx representation at the leadership level. The best way to get there is by listening to and learning from the perspectives of our Hispanic and Latinx colleagues. HOLA has and will continue to help us think of new ways to attract and retain diverse talent.”
