Dr. Jessica L. Mega

Dr. Jessica L. Mega has been a director of Boston Scientific since June 2023. Dr. Mega is the co-founder of Verily Life Sciences LLC, a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc. focused on life sciences and healthcare, and served as chief medical and scientific officer from March 2015 to the end of 2022. At Verily, Dr. Mega oversaw Verily’s clinical and science efforts, focusing on translating technological innovations and scientific insights into partnerships and programs that improve patient outcomes. Prior to joining Verily, Dr. Mega served as a cardiologist at Brigham & Women’s Hospital from 2008 to 2015. Dr. Mega also served as a faculty member at Harvard Medical School and as a senior investigator with the TIMI Study Group, where she led international clinical trials evaluating novel cardiovascular therapies and directed the genomics program. She currently is a director of Danaher Corporation and on the Board of Advisors at the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy and Research/America. Dr. Mega received her B.A. from Stanford University, her M.D. from Yale University School of Medicine, and her M.P.H. from Harvard School of Public Health.
