Obsidio Embolic is a 510(k) cleared device with shear-thinning technology, the first embolic of its kind to have a specific on-label indication for peripheral use in the US. Obsidio Embolic is indicated for use in the embolization of hypervascular tumors and blood vessels to occlude blood flow for controlling bleeding/hemorrhaging in the peripheral vasculature.

Product Details

  • Obsidio Embolic is compatible with a variety of microcatheters, is delivered ready-to-use, and requires minimal preparation
  • When force is applied, the aqueous embolic flows readily through catheters and syringes, enabling accurate proximal placement in the target tissue as well as catheter reuse
  • When force is removed, the material becomes a soft solid, conforming to the target vessel for delivering embolization
  • Packaged in a ready-to-use 1 mL syringe with a standard luer-lock connection
