IVUS Case Study Library

As reported in the Calcium Study, the Jetstream Atherectomy System effectively removed superficial calcium in severely and moderately calcified arterial lesions. Comparison of pre-intervention and post-procedure IVUS case images revealed significantly larger lumens. IVUS can differentiate between deep and superficial calcification, which is difficult to determine by angiography, 1 and sensitivity to detect calcium by IVUS has been reported at 90%.2

Calcium debulking with the Jetstream Atherectomy System produced a concentric lumen in the Popliteal artery
