PERIPHERAL INTERVENTIONS PHYSICIAN PROGRAMS

Led by highly-respected physician faculty, our Physician Training Programs are designed to help increase understanding of the clinical, procedural, and technical challenges respective to peripheral vascular procedures. All programs have been designed to drive clinical proficiency and foster increased patient access to care.

Program Faculty is comprised of Key Opinion Leaders from around the country, officers of National Societies, investigators from landmark clinical trials, and textbook authors who contribute to the development of clinical guidelines.

Program Description

This program has been designed to demonstrate and share best clinical practices for the diagnosis and treatment of Acute and Chronic Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and Venous Compression Syndromes.

Facilitated by a highly-experienced physician faculty, the extensive hands-on portion of this program will feature the use of cadaver models, anatomical flow models, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound. Our faculty will give a didactic overview of tools and treatment strategies related to treating Complex Venous Disease - including case review, disease-state differentiation, device selection, venous stenting strategies, and associated procedural best practices.

Complex SFA & BTK Interventions: Strategies for Success

Program Description

This program has been designed to demonstrate and share best clinical practices for the management of patients presenting with symptoms of Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) Critical Limb Ischemia (CLI) and the complex Chronic Total Occlusions (CTOs) that are often present in those patients.

Facilitated by a highly physician faculty, the extensive hands-on portion of this program will feature a cadaver lab, anatomical flow models, case simulation, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy. Our faculty will give a didactic overview of treatment strategies respective to treatment of this complex lower extremity disease - typically including a live case broadcast, extensive case review, and an overview of the latest technologies in drug elution, atherectomy and crossing.
