Frequently asked questions about the TLDP:
What can I expect from the program?
TLDP participants will complete four, six-month rotations over two years. Exact placements will vary depending on your experience, goals and preferences. Throughout your rotations, you'll gain experience in analysis, engineering, or both:
- For analysts
This may include practicing user-centered design, analysis, product management, hypothesis-driven development, and configuring an application. - For engineers
This could include defining architecture, back-end development, front-end development, test-driven development, user-centered design, and learning new coding languages. You'll have the opportunity to work in spaces such as cyber-security, digital health, and more.
Regardless of the TLDP track rotation, you’ll play a key role on your team, contributing to meaningful projects and working with the latest technologies.
Upon completion, graduates will have gained a strong professional network and robust, extensive skills. Graduates will work with their program advisers to secure a full-time role, either in a previous rotation or on a new team.
