Spencer, Indiana

Employees at our Spencer, Indiana facility manufacture products for Boston Scientific's Endoscopy and Urology Divisions. The Spencer plant was the first manufacturing facility acquired by Boston Scientific, in 1988.

Spencer manufactures over 700 Class I and II medical devices across 65 different product families, including stone retrieval devices, percuflex stents, female incontinence products, biliary tomes, enteral feeding devices, biliary stents, dilators, GI needles and brushes. Manufacturing processes include: molding, extrusion, coating, and light assembly.



Beginning in 2002, Spencer has won the local YMCA Corporate Challenge Olympics each year. 

Charitable Giving

Spencer employees contributed over 5,000 hours of volunteer community service in 2012, and contributed $150,000 to local charitable causes such as: 

  • Hoosiers Outrun Cancer
  • Patricksburg Food Pantry
  • YMCA
  • Tornado relief
