A mandatory 4-hour online prework module covering the general principles of endo-bariatrics, patient selection, multidisciplinary team involvement, and procedural techniques
Faculty-led hands-on course
OverStitchTM device introduction, Full Thickness Bites and Helix Management, ESG (MERIT) and TORe suture Patterns, and troubleshooting
Post Course
On-request Preceptorship and/or Proctoring with faculty; On-demand content on the EDUCARE Platform; Nurse training and orientation
Criteria for enrolment
- Flexible endoscopy skills (GI or surgeon)
- Committed to multi-step learning path incl. Proctoring and Preceptorship.
- Demonstrates active bariatric patient flow
- Supported by institution closure devices
