During this first session, chairpersons Prof James Spratt & Dr Thierry Lefèvre give you the introduction and clinical overview to the Live Case Series. Additionally, we join the Royal Victoria Hospital live, where Dr Simon Walsh tackles a surgical turn down Left Main due to COVID restrictions on surgery.
In this session Professor James Spratt reviews the conclusion of the first Live Case from Belfast and is joined by Dr Joost Daemen and Dr Jose de la Torre to discuss IVUS driven strategy and optimization for Left Main PCI. Dr Colm Hanratty and Professor Robert Byrne take us through an IVUS led left main case from the Mater Private Hospital in Dublin.
Part 3 - Approach to LMS & Choosing Stent Strategy
In the third live case Dr Thierry Lefèvre is joined by Dr Alaide Chieffo & Dr Barbara Stähli to discuss LM PCI Strategy and current evidence in revascularization in Multivessel Disease. Then we go live to Clinique Saint Augustin in Bordeaux with Dr Olivier Darremont and Dr Nicolas Boudou where the patient had what appeared to be a very tight distal LMS trifurcation. Utilizing HD IVUS guidance allowed the team to make an informed decision on which stent strategy to use.
