Satellite Symposia

 

 


Prof. Helmut Pürerfellner, Dr Moloy Das and Prof. Dhirja Gupta share their early clinical experience with INTELLANAV STABLEPOINT™ ablation catheter, combining contact force and local impedance, enabling ablation with deeper insights.

By attending this symposium you will understand:

  1. The limitations of using contact force, ablation indices and surface temperature standalone.
  2. The benefits of local impedance to discern tissue types and plan for ablation delivery.
  3. Combining contact force and local impedance drop for real-time feedback during lesion development and safeguarding against overheating.

This symposium will be chaired by Prof. Daniel Steven and will feature 3 speakers to provide the latest update on early clinical experience with the POLARx cryoablation system through a discussion between experts.

By attending this symposium you will understand:

  1. How an optimized workflow with the POLARx™ cryoablation system drives better efficacy.
  2. How POLARx™ cryo-balloon enhancement allows for a better stability and therefore better vein occlusion.
  3. How lesion assessment is facilitated with POLARMAP catheter and validated with 3D mapping.

This symposium will discuss how the benefits of S-ICD, particularly avoiding the serious complications associated with transvenous leads, continue to be important to patient outcomes, even during the global pandemic.
The speakers will draw on their significant clinical experience, as well as the large body of clinical literature, to discuss which patients benefit the most from S-ICD therapy, and how this should drive device decision making.
Finally the speakers will explore how to improve the S-ICD implant workflow, particularly focusing on alternatives to general anaesthesia, which is often a challenge both during the pandemic and beyond.

By attending this symposium you will understand:

  2. Which primary prevention patients will benefit from S-ICD.
