Theme: HoLEP technique has evolved since its introduction by Dr. Peter Gilling in the late 199o's. The purpose of this video symposium is to review the current technique described by a sampling of the leading enucleation physicians in the world and discuss the key differences from edited patient videos.

Theme: This course will enable the participants to gain a basic understanding of laser physics, as well as clinical indications and outcomes of Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP). The participants will also become familiar with the technique of the procedure and instrumentation.

Theme: Innovations in minimally invasive surgery have led to the proposal of incision-free natural orifice translumenal endoscopic surgery (NOTES). The purpose of this presentation is to describe the technique of natural orifice translumenal endoscopic surgical radical prostatectomy (NOTES-RP) and the results of Dr. Humphreys initial human use results.
Short Lecture: Ureteroscopy vs ESWL – Selecting the Right Patients

Theme: ESWL is the treatment modality of choice of many urologists for proximal ureteral calculi. Dr. Lingeman will compare the safety and efficacy of ESWL vs URS for treatment of this group of stones.
