Physician Education Programs

Boston Scientific hosts numerous physician education programs annually.

Boston Scientific master class programs at the World Congress of Endourology in October 2009 included:

Ureteroscopy: From Theory to Practice
Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy: Prone, Supine or both, A Different Approach for a Successful Outcome

CME Accredited Nurse Programs

Boston Scientific can provide CME accredited programs for the Urology nursing staff on stone treatment procedures. This program earns 3 CEU credits. If you are interested in having nurse accredited training at your hospital or surgery center, please speak with your local Boston Scientific Sales Representative or click here to submit a CME training request.

Physician Preceptorship Programs

Preceptor programs are available to Boston Scientific customers who are looking to learn surgical techniques on ureteroscopy and percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL). This program utilizes one on training and discussion with a Boston Scientific preceptor and includes traveling to the Center of Excellence and observing procedures utilizing the latest techniques & products. For percutaneous procedures, our preceptors can also provide Urologist training on obtaining access to the percutaneous tract.
