Al Chin, M.D."I get inspired thinking about new therapies and designing ways to solve problems or cure diseases. People here are very engaged. We're interested in our work. We care about what we do. That's one of the reasons I'm here. It is very gratifying to design products that will help people. If I think about a clinical idea, I will make a design and go try it out. Boston Scientific is a large company, but it has kept an entrepreneurial atmosphere. When you're designing products for use in the heart, you have to think through the potential complications. I can learn from the thousands of cardiac surgeons who are using our products, and I will determine how we can design something that is safe and easy to use." |

Rasean Hamilton"I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, but I wanted to do something different. I didn't want to sit at a desk all day. Working here, if you express interest in a certain area, Boston Scientific helps plan your development. In my current role, I have lots of interaction with the Marketing, Manufacturing and Clinical teams. I remember the first time that a product I worked on saved a patient's life. It was an incredible experience. Now I can look at our products as if they were being used by one of my relatives, and I will make improvements all along the way." |
