Boston Scientific is committed to fostering medical advancements through funding third-party independent research. Such projects will generally be in the areas of medicine where Boston Scientific conducts business. The projects must have specific goals or endpoints, as described in a detailed protocol. Except in limited circumstances where the researcher has obtained all appropriate regulatory approvals, research may not involve the use of Boston Scientific products that have not been approved or cleared by the FDA. A written report must be prepared and submitted to Boston Scientific by the grant recipient upon completion of the research. This section is intended to serve as a reference for medical professionals regarding the research grant application process. Provided are the necessary forms and materials required to submit a request.
