World Diabetes Day, November 14, is a worldwide campaign led by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), a collaborative alliance of over 200 diabetes associations in over 160 countries.
Major objectives include:
Reaching 1 billion people worldwide with care and prevention messages including information about the causes, symptoms, complications and treatment of Diabetes.
Promoting Diabetes prevention and care among healthcare professionals through education materials and programs.
