2008 Physician Fee Schedule

On Tuesday, July 15th, Congress passed an override bill averting a 10.6% cut in 2008 Medicare physician rates scheduled to go into effect July 1, and extended the current 0.5% increase for all of 2008.

As a result, all Medicare physician rates referenced in our reimbursement guides will remain unchanged for 2008. Over the next few days, we will be updating our guides to reflect an expiration date of 12/31/08 for all 2008 Medicare physician rates, based on the passage of this law.
