iLearn™ IVUS Education Series - IVUS Measurements

Program Overview:
This program is designed to educate participants on key measurements for clinical utilization of intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) such as percent lumen area stenosis, minimum lumen area, vessel diameter, vessel length, stent expansion/apposition, and re-intervention. This course is recommended after IVUS Basics and IVUS Image Interpretation.

Program Objectives:
Upon completion of this program, the participant should be able to:

• Employ Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) to better assess lesion measurements
  and significance
• Assess IVUS measurements to guide interventional device sizing
• Recognize the differences between expansion and apposition of stents
• Describe how to measure stent expansion
• Identify uses of IVUS for re-intervention

Intended Audience:
This program is intended for registered nurses and radiologic technologists.

Program Location/Availability:
Program is presented in-person and held on-site at the hospital.

CE programs are subject to change. Courses are held on site unless otherwise indicated by your local Boston Scientific Representative.

Requirements for Successful Completion
Attendees are required to sign-in on the attendance sheet.  Obtaining full credit for this program depends upon attendance from beginning to end. The presenter will monitor the program for attendance for the entire program, and attendees should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their attendance. Participants are requested to complete the pre- and post-evaluations for the program.
