iLearn™ IVUS Education Series - IVUS Image Interpretation

Program Overview:
This program is intended to educate participants on how to interpret intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) images for clinical guidance by teaching the basics of an IVUS image, plaque morphology, image artifacts and other structures visible within an IVUS image. This course is recommended after IVUS Basics.

Program Objectives:
Upon completion of this program, the participant should be able to:

• Identify standard elements of intravascular ultrasound (IVUS)
• Recognize image artifacts that may appear while using IVUS
• Distinguish between various plaque morphology in IVUS images
• Recognize other vascular structures that may be seen while using IVUS

Intended Audience:
This program is intended for registered nurses and radiologic technologists.

Program Location/Availability:
Program is presented in-person and held on-site at the hospital.

CE programs are subject to change. Courses are held on site unless otherwise indicated by your local Boston Scientific Representative.

Requirements for Successful Completion
Attendees are required to sign-in on the attendance sheet.  Obtaining full credit for this program depends upon attendance from beginning to end. The presenter will monitor the program for attendance for the entire program, and attendees should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their attendance. Participants are requested to complete the pre- and post-evaluations for the program.
