Peripheral IVUS Basics


Program Overview:
This course is intended to provide a general knowledge base of peripheral intravascular ultrasound (IVUS). The program begins with a review of peripheral vascular disease (PVD), as well as the current types of imaging available for PVD. Participants will then be given an overview of how IVUS works, as well as how to interpret IVUS images. The program concludes with an overview of how IVUS can be used in support of patient treatment.

This program is intended for registered nurses and radiologic technologists.

Program Location/Availability:
Program is presented in-person and held on-site at a hospital.

Continuing Education:

Requirements for Successful Completion
Attendees are required to sign-in on the attendance sheet. Obtaining full credit for this program depends upon attendance from beginning to end. The presenter will monitor the program for attendance for the entire program, and attendees should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their attendance. Participants are requested to complete the pre- and post-evaluations for the program.
