Relationships. One of our greatest strengths are the relationships
that our Sales and Marketing groups have cultivated with our customers.
They work closely with clinicians – to educate them, solicit
their advice, and listen to their feedback. Through one-on-one interviews
and Medical Advisory Boards, our sales force has paved the way for
the future success of the TAXUS product. We have the ear of clinicians.
Perhaps more importantly, clinicians have ours as we listen to their
clinical needs, concerns, and ideas.
At the same time, our sales force is being greatly
expanded. They’ve undergone extensive training – both
in person and through e-learning. Our launch planning goes well
beyond typical sales training; it allows our people to effectively
and knowledgeably educate clinicians about our drug-eluting stent
program.
