Liberté™ Stent System

As the TAXUS™ paclitaxel-eluting coronary stent system was being developed and tested, our R&D team was already creating Liberté,™ our next-generation stent. Assembled on an enhanced Maverick^2™ delivery system, the Liberté product features a thinner strut design to provide increased deliverability and greater vessel conformability. We expect that this design will help clinicians improve outcomes in some of the more challenging clinical situations. Once approved, this new technology will be available in a bare metal stent system and a paclitaxel-eluting stent system.
