Liver and Soft Tissue Ablation

Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is a promising technology that is gaining wider and wider acceptance. RFA uses radiofrequency energy, which is an electrical current, to kill lesions. The electrical current is delivered to the lesion with a needle electrode. It generates heat that is high enough to kill the lesion cells. The process of killing the cells is referred to as radiofrequency ablation.
