Spinal Cord Stimulator Trial and Implant
Spinal Cord Stimulator Trial and Implant
The first step is a minor, reversible surgical procedure that will allow the patient to actually experience the benefits of the Precision Plus™ system. The patient uses a temporary, non-implanted (external) system for about one week. If the physician and patient determine that the Precision Plus system fits the patient's pain needs and lifestyle, a minor surgical procedure is conducted to place the Precision implant. The small size of the Precision implant allows surgical placement in a comfortable and convenient location.
Precision Plus™ SCS System
The Precision Plus™ SCS System consists of a small, rechargeable implant, one or more flexible leads that connect to the implant, and the external devices necessary to control therapy and charge the implant.
