Initial PEG Placement

During an initial PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy) placement, a feeding tube is placed through the abdominal wall into the stomach to allow for nutrition to be given to the patient. A PEG placement may be used in patients that have difficulty swallowing or cannot consume nutrition by mouth.

EndoVive® Low Profile PEG Intended to provide nutrition to a patient directly into the stomach through a stoma. It is indicated for use on patients who are unable to consume nutrition by conventional means.
EndoVive® Safety PEG The Safety PEG is indicated for providing nutrition directly into the stomach in patients who are unable to consume nutrition by conventional means. The safety components of the kit are designed to reduce the potential for inadvertent sharps injury to medical personnel during and after the procedure.
EndoVive® Standard PEG Standard Initial Placement PEG is indicated for enteral nutrition directly into the stomach in both pediatric and adult patients who are unable to consume nutrition by conventional means.
