Optimize PCI: New Physiologic Indices & High Definition (HD) Imaging

Program Overview
An expert faculty panel will discuss the latest developments in coronary physiology and high definition (HD) imaging followed by small, hands-on workshops, including: new options in non-hyperemic pressure ratios (NHPR), FFR best practices & artifacts, HDIVUS image interpretation and strategic PCI planning.
 
Upon completion of this activity, the physician will have:

  1. Learn about the latest developments in non-hyperemic pressure ratios (NHPR), including DFR (Diastolic hyperemia-Free Ratio) and how these new options fit into the coronary physiology toolbox
  2. Understand when to use what in coronary physiology
  3. Understand FFR best practices and recognize common artifacts
  4. Integrate HD IVUS into complex cases

ROTAPRO™ for Plaque Modification & Vessel Prep

Program Overview
Calcium is a growing problem in the treatment of coronary artery disease. The ROTAPRO Rotational Atherectomy System is the only device to combine the gold standard atherectomy with a streamlined system, designed to reduce both setup and procedural time. ROTABLATOR™ has over 25 years of proven clinical safety and efficacy and ROTAPRO leverages this technology with an easier to use platform. Through didactic and hands on experience, this program will provide physicians with the techniques and tools to adequately address complex patients who present with multiple co-morbidities. Hands on experience will give exposure to updated ROTAPRO technology.
 
Upon completion of this activity, the physician should be able to:

  • Understand strategies to optimize vessel preparation in calcified lesions
  • Differentiate the key technological advances between ROTAPRO and the legacy system
  • Manage severely calcified lesions and possible complications
  • Recognize the system enhancements through hands on experience

Program Overview
Expert faculty will present late-breaking 12 month results from IMPERIAL, the world’s first global head-to-head peripheral drug-eluting stent clinical trial comparing Eluvia™ (BSC) versus ZilverPTX (Cook) in the SFA. Additionally, learn about the unique design approach of the Eluvia DES, the first and only SFA technology that sustains drug release when restenosis is most likely to occur.

Via an interactive session, expert faculty will discuss current SFA clinical evidence and how the IMPERIAL results fit in the SFA treatment algorithm.

This session is intended for practicing interventionalists who are currently treating the SFA and are interested in being amongst the first to learn about the late-breaking 12 month IMPERIAL trial results.
 
Upon completion of this activity, the physician will have:

  • An understanding of the IMPERIAL trial results
  • Deep knowledge of the peripheral Drug Eluting clinical evidence landscape
  • An understanding of the unique design of Eluvia and why Sustained Drug Release beyond 12 months is an important consideration when treating patients with PVD.
