Center of Education (COE) 

This peer-to-peer educational program is designed to improve the knowledge and skills of physician participants related to the use of the Boston Scientific GreenLight Laser for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Knowledgeable physician faculty, using a variety of interactive learning techniques, will explore key topics such as: surgical technique, patient selection and managing potential complications.

Preceptor 

This peer-to-peer live case observation and didactic program is designed for the learner to visit one of our faculty experts and observe at least 3 live cases as well as discuss best practice surgical techniques for using the Boston Scientific GreenLight Laser.

This one-on-one training is designed to bring one of our Faculty experts to your hospital to help proctor a full day of cases. Proctorships should be scheduled following participation at a COE or a Preceptorship course.

Virtual Training with GreenLight SIM™

In addition, Boston Scientific can bring hands-on training directly to your facility with the GreenLight SIM™ Virtual Reality System. Developed in partnership with the University of Minnesota’s Center for Research and Education in Simulation Technologies (CREST), the training tool allows urologists to practice general techniques as well as those needed for more challenging cases. Using realistic tactile simulation based on actual laser tissue interaction with the GreenLight Laser System, the GreenLight SIM Virtual Reality System helps to reduce the learning curve for new physicians and provides an opportunity to enhance surgical techniques for existing users.
