Product Information

• The Hydratome RX Sphincterotome comprises a sphincterotome with a pre-loaded guidewire.
• The Hydratome RX Sphincterotome is a triple lumen device tapered from 7Fr (2.3mm) to 5.5Fr (1.8mm) over the distal 5-7c.
• The guidewire is constructed of a special metal alloy core, which is encapsulated in a striped PTFE jacket.
• The Hydra Jagwire® High Performance Guidewire features two distinct hydrophilic radiopaque distal tips of 5cm and 10cm.
• The 5cm distal tip is distinguished by incorporating 2 gold plated marker bands placed in 5cm increments starting from the distal tip.
• The Hydra Jagwire High Performance Guidewire is pre-loaded in a sphincterotome with the 10cm hydrophilic radiopaque distal tip located in the distal tip of the sphincterotome.
• The striped jacket provides endoscopically visible movement markings.
• When connected to a monopolar current, the sphincterotome may be used to incise the Papilla of Vater and/or the Sphincter of Oddi.
• The Hydratome RX Sphincterotome guidewire may be left in place for sphincterotomy.
• The Hydratome RX Spincterotome is designed for use with endoscopes that have a working channel of 2.8mm and larger.
