Gold Probe™ Electrohemostasis Catheter
The Gold Probe Device is a bipolar electrocautery catheter with irrigation capabilities. When passed through an endoscope and activated, it is designed to deliver a bipolar current to cauterize tissue.
Gold spiral electrode on the probe tip is designed to provide bipolar electrical continuity, necessary cautery depths, and minimum tissue adhesion
Firm catheter shaft is designed to reduce kinking, facilitate advancement and help to provide better en fosse and tangential tamponade
HemoGlide™ Coating is designed to help reduce surface friction to facilitate passage through the endoscope
Irrigation
Irrigation with saline or sterile water is performed by connecting the irrigation hub to the irrigation port of the bipolar generator for the Standard plug or to a 30cc or 60cc luer-lock syringe for the Banana plugs
