Overview

Product Information

  • The WALLSTENT RX Biliary Endoprosthesis is designed for RX compatibility to increase control in the hands of the physician.
  • The UNISTEP® Plus Delivery System is engineered to lock a 260cm guidewire in place to help secure access throughout stent positioning and deployment.
  • The single-operator exchange system is designed to provide enhanced efficiency by eliminating the need to manage a 450cm guidewire during an ERCP. This improves guidewire access placement to avoid difficult recannulation.
  • Proprietary PERMALUME® covering is designed to resist tumor ingrowth with intent to improve palliation and extended patency. It may reduce the need for reintervention, which can enhance cost effectiveness.
  • The flexible closed-cell design has been shown to increase patency rates for improved palliation of common bile-duct obstructions.
  • The fully braided flexible delivery catheter is designed to resist kinking in tortuous anatomy.
  • Four radiopaque markers on the sheath and catheter enhance deployment control.

MR Safe

The WALLSTENT RX Biliary Endoprosthesis will not present an additional hazard or risk to a patient undergoing an MRI procedure using an MR system operating with a static magnetic field of 1.5 Tesla or less.

MR Compatible

Use of the WALLSTENT RX Biliary Endoprosthesis in an MR environment will not adversely impact the image quality.

Additional Information

The safety and effectiveness of this device for use in the vascular system have not been established.

The WALLSTENT Endoscopic Biliary Stent System offers an 8Fr low-profile design for passage through 3.2mm working channel and up to a 30Fr lumen diameter.

The WALLSTENT RX Biliary Endoprosthesis may be reconstrained and repositioned during deployment up to the limit marker band has been reached. The limit marker band will be reached when approximately 87% of the stent has been deployed. Reconstrainability may be limited by scope position or tortuous anatomy, among other factors.

Halo technology is designed to promote precise positioning through improved fluoroscopic visibility.
