Escape® Nitinol Stone Retrieval Basket

The Escape Basket offers a side-by-side approach, unique to the market, for using a nitinol basket and holmium laser fiber together providing physician control and independent manipulation of both the basket and laser fiber.

1.9Fr Sheath provides optimal irrigation flow over 2.2F and 2.4F devices. When passed through a 3.6F scope working channel, the 1.9F sheath and 200µ laser fiber provide irrigation flow equivalent to a 2.4F device.

Nitinol Tipless basket design is constructed of a nitinol tube which has been laser cut to remove excess nitinol material leaving the 4-wire basket cage.

Additional Information

This basket cage design integrates 2 shapes/sizes. The basket is most typically used in the 4-wire position (11mm); however, in its fully open position, the 4-wire cage extends 2 long legs for releasability (15mm).
