EuroPCR Charity Run

Boston Scientific was honored to co-host, with EuroPCR, the first Charity Run in support of la Fundación Española del Corazón (The Spanish Heart Foundation) on May 20, 2009. The Spanish Heart Foundation was founded in 1967 and has made the prevention of cardiovascular disease its main mission, with the belief that education about healthy lifestyles is effective in reducing risk factors that can lead to heart disease.

More than 100 runners participated in the 4K run along the seaside in Barcelona to promote healthy living habits in an effort to prevent cardiovascular diseases.

100% of the runners donations went to support the charity and a check for €6,000 was presented to the Vice-president of the Fundación del Corazón, Doctor José María Cruz Fernández.

Wounded Warrior Project

Boston Scientific’s passion to support wounded U.S. veterans has led to a relationship with the Wounded Warrior Project™ (WWP), whose mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors.
