Camp Odayin Heart and Sole

Boston Scientific is a primary sponsor of the Annual Camp Odayin Heart & Sole 5K Fun Run/2.5K Walk at Como Park in Saint Paul, MN. In 2008, a record number of walkers and runners participated in the race.

Camp Odayin provides residential, day and family camp experiences for children with heart disease and their families. This unique camp provides an experience these kids would not be able to enjoy elsewhere due to their heart conditions. Camp Odayin allows children with similar health issues to discover nature, participate in athletics and use their creative talents. Camp staff includes highly trained pediatric cardiologists and cardiology nurses to provide campers with the medical supervision they need.

In addition to financial support provided by Boston Scientific, many employees participate in the Heart and Sole race each year.

Pacemaker 5000

Since 2003, Boston Scientific has co-sponsored the Pacemaker 5000, a 5K Walk/Run and Kids Fun Run, which takes place each June in Downtown Minneapolis to raise money for Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.
