LifeBeat Online and LifeBeat Newsletter

Boston Scientific’s LifeBeatSM Newsletter is offered to patients who receive an implanted cardiac device. The newsletter, offered in both print and online versions, was created to help implanted cardiac device recipients live full, active lives.

LifeBeat generally presents information about living with an implanted cardiac device, including heart related news and health tips, answers to questions typical of cardiac patients, and stories about other patients and how they are leading active lives. LifeBeat Online provides the newsletter on the Web, enhancing it with useful facts and features, as well as an archive of previous issues.

With more than 100,000 print subscribers and 15,000 online subscribers, LifeBeat resonates with patients and their families. Regardless of the type of implanted cardiac device they have implanted, the goal of LifeBeat is to help improve the quality of life for cardiac patients after getting a device.
